Arsenal and Liverpool will have to fork out close to €100 million to sign Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo Goes.
Rodrygo’s future has been one of the biggest talking points this summer. The Brazilian international seems to have gone down the pecking order at Real Madrid following the arrival of Xabi Alonso, and he has been considering parting ways with his dream club.
According to a report from CaughtOffside, Arsenal and Liverpool are both keen on signing the two-time Champions League winner. While Los Blancos are ready to negotiate his departure, they want a fee between €90 million and €100 million for the Brazilian forward.
Rodrygo was an undisputed starter at Madrid under Carlo Ancelotti. However, the arrival of Alonso, the change of system and competition for places in the final third have seen him go down the pecking order. He only had limited game time during the Club World Cup, which was an indication that the Spanish manager might not have a prominent role for the 24-year-old in his team.

If they fail to sign the Swedish striker from Newcastle, they could shift their focus towards the 24-year-old. Meanwhile, Arsenal are also in the mix. They are going all out to bring Eberechi Eze to the club, but if that doesn’t go as planned, they could end up making a move for Rodrygo.
However, they will have to let go of one of their left-wingers to make room for the Brazilian international. While Los Blancos are ready to negotiate, they will only let him leave if the right offer arrives.
