Gage Larvadain putting in the extra work during training camp | Team Coverage

Larvadain has been held to a standard by the veterans in the receiver room like Jerry Jeudy and Diontae Johnson, as well as wide receivers coach and pass game coordinator Chad O'Shea. As a result, offensive coordinator Tommy Rees has taken note of Larvadain since he signed with the Browns.

"Gage (Larvadain) has done a really nice job," offensive coordinator Tommy Rees said. "He's shown up. He's competed from the day he stepped foot with us in the offseason. He knows what to do, knows how to do it. And when you put in that work, good results usually follow."

Coming in as a UDFA into a crowded wide receiver room, Larvadain has tried to use his resources to better himself and keep to the standard he is being held to. He's talking to players like Jeudy, Johnson or WR DeAndre Carter as much as he can. To reciprocate their help, he's trying to be the best teammate he can, saying that the football stuff will take care of itself through good karma.

And Larvadain has cashed in his good karma with the Browns' quarterbacks, seemingly becoming a favorite target, if not an often-open target, for them to throw to.

"God has blessed me with the opportunity to be here, to be able to compete in that game with my teammates, with my coaches, with the Browns," Larvadain said. "It's been a great experience, a fun experience -- something I hope I can keep doing."
