Santiago Giménez closed preseason with AC Milan in style, scoring against Leeds United before watching from the sidelines against Chelsea. Now, the Mexican striker is ready to start a new chapter alongside football icons Luka Modrić and Massimiliano Allegri.

Speaking to Sky, Giménez praised his new coach just days after joining training on Aug. 4: “He’s a coach who really unites the team and works with great intensity. From day one at Milanello, I felt sure it’s going to be a great year.”
Modrić, fresh from leaving Real Madrid as a free agent, brings the winning pedigree Milan hope will spark a turnaround from last season’s eighth-place Serie A finish.
“His arrival, after so many titles, will surely motivate us. From the first moment, you could see his quality. He helps strikers a lot. We’re very happy to have him and it’s always a dream to win the championship,” said Giménez.
