**Brighton & Hove Albion have signed Arsenal attacker Rosa Kafaji on loan for the 2024/25 campaign.**
Kafaji, who signed for the Gunners in the summer of 2024, struggled to break into Renée Slegers’ first team throughout the 2024/25 campaign. The Swedish youngster struggled with injury in the latter stages of last season’s campaign, but has spent the pre-season fit and in form with Arsenal’s first team.
The 21-year-old previously plied her trade at Swedish side BK Häcken, making a stellar impression throughout the 2023/24 Damallsvenskan and UEFA Women’s Champions League campaigns.
[Brighton](https://thehalfwayline.com/category/womens-super-league/brighton-hove-albion/) have formed a close relationship with Arsenal over recent times, previously hosting the talent of young star Michelle Agyemang, who is rumoured to return to the club on loan.
“We are excited to welcome Rosa to the squad for the season ahead,” Brighton head coach Dario Vidosic said.
“She is a versatile attacker who shows plenty of promise in the front line. She’s a fantastic addition to the team for our new campaign and we’re excited to see her integrate within our squad and style of play.”
