FC Barcelona are continuously working on wrapping up various operations this summer. While certain operations are seeing great progress, other player-related deals are being worked on as well. Unfortunately, a certain exit could now become complicated.
Unlike the departure of Inigo Martinez, who was seen as a key piece of Hansi Flick’s project, another player is currently expected to leave to find more opportunities elsewhere. That player is Inaki Pena, and he has been linked to Como recently.
Barcelona goalkeeper’s move to Comp now stalled

However, according to SPORT, his possible move to the Italian side might have stalled. Due to various factors, including Barça’s demands and Como’s urgency to bring in a new goalkeeper soon, the deal could potentially end up being derailed.
The Catalan club wants to retain Pena’s services until their other club players can be registered, something that even Joan Laporta gave an update on recently. Unfortunately, that is holding back the out-of-favour goalkeeper from finding a club right now.
Moreover, with the Como option now possibly fading away, Pena is exploring other options as well. Sevilla and Celta Vigo remain options, but they both have their own unique complications.
As for Como, even the team’s coach, Cesc Fabregas, recently responded when asked about his side’s interest in the Barça goalkeeper.
