The 2025-26 Premier League season is coming this week as London’s clubs put the final touches on their pre-campaign preparations over the weekend.
Crystal Palace kicked off the competitive campaign with a victory over Liverpool in the Community Shield final at Wembley. The Eagles twice came from behind to take the game to penalties, as they triumphed 3-2 on spot-kicks.
Arsenal will be hoping to go one better this season after finishing second for the last three years while Chelsea will feel they can put themselves in the title picture after a busy summer that saw them win the Club World Cup.
For Tottenham, improvement is needed under new boss Thomas Frank after Spurs finished 17th under Ange Postecoglou last time out. They will play Champions League football, though, after winning the Europa League. They first have their UEFA Super Cup final with Paris Saint-Germain to contend with before starting their league season.
West Ham have their first full season under Graham Potter and will be keen to improve on last term’s 14th place finish. Brentford, Fulham and Crystal Palace finished 10th, 11th and 12th last time out - can any of those sides make a push for Europe this term?
Here’s what they came up with...
