Celtic and Sunderland have had differing transfer windows this summer.
Of course, the duo are fishing in different markets because the champions of Scotland don’t have the financial power that comes with being an English Premier League side.
Either way, it has been a frustrating transfer window for Celtic, with the calibre of players wanted not yet signed, whilst Sunderland have been as busy as anyone after promotion, including securing the standout purchase of Granit Xhaka from Bayer Leverkusen.
But both clubs are seemingly fishing in the Danish market for an upcoming winger – Clement Bischoff – and it has been made clear where he should go.

Celtic backed to sign Clement Bischoff ahead of Sunderland
Bischoff is a highly-rated player at Brondby, who are one of Denmark’s biggest clubs, and they are aiming to compete in the Europa Conference League this season.
It has been suggested that Celtic, alongside the Black Cats, are keen on the 19-year-old, and a price of ‘£6.3 million’ has been put on his head.
Former Rangers defender Richard Foster told Go Radio that Bischoff should pick Celtic, even if Sunderland offered him ‘twice the money.’
Host Paul Cooney stated: “Here is somebody else who has been mentioned. The Brondby winger, Clement Bischoff.

“There was an offer from Brighton in February. A £7.2 million deal fell through. They are saying he is now £6.3 million. Not sure how you can be that precise.
“But there is interest from, I think, Sunderland, who have been mentioned there. Brendan Rodgers has said, they need a winger.”
Foster responded: “For me, if I am looking at this, and this shows my ignorance, but it’s also because I don’t really care about English football.
“But I don’t even know what league Sunderland are in. Are they in the Championship? Are they back? Right okay. But even that, for me, you are going to Celtic, with the opportunity to go and play in the Champions League.
“Or, you are going to Sunderland, where, let’s be honest, they are likely going to be cannon fodder for the rest of the league.
“In my mind, there isn’t even a question there. Even if Sunderland are offering twice the money, I think the winger should go to Celtic, if that’s his choice.”
Bischoff stats for Brondby
Celtic are yet to replace Nicolas Kuhn, after he joined Como in Italy, whilst there is little cover for the long-term injured Jota.
Perhaps Celtic are waiting to secure Champions League football, with the qualifiers around the corner, and if that’s the case, then it’s something that would give the Hoops the advantage over Sunderland.
Either way, Bischoff operates on the left flank, and he registered ten assists last term in all competitions, and already has three goal involvements from seven matches this season.
