Sheffield Wednesday asking price for Pierce Charles revealed
If Pierce Charles wasn’t a man in-demand already, he definitely is now.
Charles made 11 saves despite Sheffield Wednesday’s late loss to Leicester City.
The Foxes are one of those interested in Charles but it is imperative that the Owls keep the Northern Ireland international if they want to stay up.
Keen to keep their key assets after losing a raft of first-team players, Wednesday reportedly want £8m for Charles and will do everything they can to keep the teenager at Hillsborough.
Bilal El Khannouss could be the next star to leave Leicester City
Leicester recently lost Mads Hermansen to West Ham United in the transfer window that has also seen Wilfred Ndidi join Besiktas and Conor Coady head to Wrexham.
It’s well documented that the Foxes need to sell to buy and Marti Cifuentes wants to shrink his squad size down before buying any players.

Chuba Akpom explains why he made Ipswich Town switch
Ipswich Town won the race to sign Chuba Akpom after fending off interest from their opening day opponents Birmingham City.
It’s one of the statement signings of the summer in the second tier and when asked why Akpom chose Ipswich ahead of Birmingham, there was only one reason on his mind.
He said: “I was really excited when I heard of the interest and I’m delighted to have joined a club with such big ambitions.
“I watch a lot of football and have always thought Ipswich would suit my style, so this move makes perfect sense.
“I’m here to do as much as I can do to help the team, in the changing room and on the pitch, and I’ll bring a winning mentality here.”
