Manchester City News understands that Rodrygo’s camp are not ruling out a move to the Etihad Stadium.
We previously confirmed that Rodrygo is Manchester City’s target to replace Savinho in the event that the former Troyes winger signs for Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
The 24-year-old, who still has three years left on his contract at Real Madrid fell out of favour under Carlo Ancelotti at the back end of last season and Xabi Alonso does not seem to fancy him as well.
As a result, Real Madrid could sell Rodrygo during the ongoing summer transfer window.
Rodrygo would love to work with Man City manager Pep Guardiola
Our transfer expert, Graeme Bailey has been notified one man who Rodrygo is keen to work with at Manchester City is none other than Pep Guardiola.
However, with Liverpool and Arsenal showing interest in signing Rodrygo as well this summer, the Brazilian shares similar feelings about Arne Slot and Mikel Arteta respectively.

Manchester City have initiated contacts to sign Rodrygo to find out where the player, his agents, his family and Real Madrid stand about their pursuit of the two-time Champions League winner.
Only time will tell whether Liverpool and Arsenal up the ante and push City in the race for the decorated winger’s signature.
