Manchester United have had a busy summer transfer window. The Red Devils have made four transfers at the time of writing, with Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Diego Leon all joining the club.
The 20-time English champions let Victor Lindelof, Christian Eriksen and Jonny Evans depart the club upon the expiry of their contract, while Marcus Rashford was shipped out on loan to Barcelona.
With United having spent just over £200m this summer and having recouped nothing from outgoings, United need to continue to get players out the exit door to try and balance the books. The likes of Antony, Jadon Sancho and Alejandro Garnacho look certain to leave in the coming weeks with Amorim deeming them all to be surplus to requirements.
Rasmus Hojlund's future is also in serious doubt. The Danish striker, signed for £72m in 2023, is no longer first-choice following the arrival of Sesko. He initially wanted to stay at the club and fight for his place but has now reluctantly agreed to leave, according to talkSPORT.
The Athletic's David Ornstein reported that there was 'a very high chance' that Hojlund leaves the club this summer, while it's also been claimed that AC Milan are close to agreeing a loan move for the 22-year-old.
Amorim Urged to Intervene And Keep Rasmus Hojlund

Hojlund has flattered to deceive during his two-year spell at Old Trafford, scoring 26 times and recording six assists in 95 matches. But, despite his poor return in front of goal, Ruben Amorim has been urged to intervene and convince him to stay.
Mikael Silvestre believes United will be short up front if they let Hojlund leave. He told Hajper, per the Metro: "Marcus Rashford has gone and there are not a lot of strikers around, Joshua Zirkzee is a different type of striker that doesn’t make those runs in behind the defence.
"He is another type of player for certain games, certain opposition. But no, you need competition, need quality, so I wouldn’t rush into sending Rasmus Hojlund out on loan. Absolutely not."
Dimitar Berbatov also admitted that Hojlund's performances last year were 'disappointing' but believes competition for a starting berth could be beneficial for him.
"I am excited with Sesko going to United, but at the same time I am a bit cautious because Hojlund and Zirkzee were performing great in their previous clubs.
"I watched how they moved, how they bullied defenders, how they scored goals, but then going to the Premier League, they found it difficult to adjust. And the stats speak for themselves, right? Three goals, four goals, for a striker you are going to be disappointed with yourself.

"It was difficult campaign for them and it’s a difficult period that they are going through, and now with another striker coming in, of course the competition is going to be high.
"When you buy a striker now you start to think, 'Well am I going to play? Is my place in United? Am I still belonging here? Do I need to start looking for a club?' Or maybe then you start thinking, 'Alright, I like the competition. Now I’m going to show you. Now I’m going to fight for my place. Now I’m going to bring the fire.'
"So it’s a two-way scenario. You choose the one I said or the other. So let’s see what they are going to bring to the table as well. You always want the competition, but at the same time, as a striker, because we think we’re special, you need to feel welcome and wanted in the team, by the coach, by everybody.
"Then your motivation is going to be higher and your self-esteem is going to be higher. It’s a lot of factors. It’s not easy, but it’s all in the head."
