MORE EVERTON STORIES
With the clock ticking down to the opening weekend of the season, the Premier League have now announced their official appointments for each game.

Moyes has demanded more signings, and the 62-year-old is finally being listened to, but the referee appointment will frustrate some fans ahead of Monday.
Everton’s record under referee Chris Kavanagh
Simply put, Everton have not won with Kavanagh as the referee since 2021.
That victory did come in the Merseyside Derby, where Everton won 2-0 away to Liverpool, with a penalty awarded to the Blues.
Everton’s record with Chris Kavanagh Total
Games 16
Wins 5
Draws 5

Everton played three games in the league last season with Kavanagh in charge, and they failed to score a single goal in any of those games.
Excuses must be put aside this weekend, with Everton looking to get off to a bright start in what will be a historic season for the club.
But this will undoubtedly catch the attention of numerous fans.
