Bayern eye two Chelsea players as possible Coman replacement

Bayern Munich are reportedly exploring options to replace Kingsley Coman, who is set to join Al-Nassr.

The French winger is edging closer to leaving the German giants. The Saudi Pro League club are offering a fee of around €30m including add-ons.

The Bavarian giants are looking for replacements, and they have earmarked Chelsea duo Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson.

According to a report from Sky Germany, Bayern are interested in signing Jackson.

The Chelsea striker was among players who were left out of the pre-season friendly game against Bayer Leverkusen, and his future has come into doubt.

Jackson has contributed 30 goals and 12 assists from his 81 appearances in all competitions for the Blues, but Enzo Maresca recently suggested that the striker could be sold.

The 24-year-old could drop down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge following the arrivals of Joao Pedro and Liam Delap, and he has officially told Chelsea that he wants to explore options elsewhere, with Newcastle United also vying for his signature.

Sky Germany claims that Bayern have recently asked for information about the Senegal striker, and he was offered a contract until 2033. However, Christian Falk has informed CFBayern that Jackson is a ‘hot topic’ for Bayern anymore.

Do Bayern retain interest in Christopher Nkunku?

Bayern have been long-term admirers of Nkunku. They wanted to sign him during the January transfer window, but couldn’t reach an agreement back then.

Back in July, we covered that Bayern had started talks with Nkunku’s agent, Pini Zahavi. After Leroy Sane left the club to join Galatasaray, Nkunku’s name had resurfaced as a potential option.

Sky Germany claims that Nkunku remains one of the options for Bayern to replace Coman, but Chelsea are not considering letting him go on loan. It has to be a permanent deal.

According to The Telegraph, both Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest are interested in negotiating a deal with Chelsea for the winger, so Bayern need to act quickly if they are really interested in landing him.
