Four Premier League clubs ‘in line’ for Serbian talent – Everton send scout to Serbia again

Everton appear to be continuing their hunt for Serbian defender Veljko Milosavljević, with them, Brighton, Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest in the mix.

That’s according to Serbia’s Max Bet Sport, who report that Bournemouth, Everton, Brighton and Nottingham Forest are all ‘in line’ for the 18-year-old.

They state Red Star General Manager Zvezdan Terzić and Technical Director Marko Marin are expecting offers for Milosavljević before the end of the transfer window.

The club are aware of interest from the Premier League and the aforementioned four (Everton, Brighton, Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest) have already lined up for a potential deal. They, though, don’t expect any agreement to be struck with anyone before August 27th.

There’s a plan in place at the Serbian club for Milosavljević to depart and in a highly profitable deal as well, and the club are already looking at replacements.

Bournemouth have already offered €13m, while Nottingham Forest have made a bid of €10m. Everton and Brighton are yet to put sums on the table but both figures are ones which could not be rejected by Red Star.

Max Bet Sport also report in a second piece that Everton recently sent a scout to Serbia to watch players from Crvena Zvezda in the clash with Lech this evening. They will be one of several teams in attendance at the game specifically to watch Sherif Ndiaye, Bruno Duarte and Seol Young-Woo.

It is no stretch of the imagination to suggest that scout could also be in Serbia to watch Milosavljević too, especially given a report in May had scouts watching him all as well.

He’s clearly on Everton’s radar and with Bournemouth and Forest already making bids, perhaps they will be doing so as well before too long.
