The Scotland international played a key role in the Naples club’s Serie A title win and Juventus believe that the Brighton player can have a similar impact in the Italian top-flight.
This is why O’Riley’s profile has risen up Juve’s shortlist and the newspaper expects further discussions to be held with his entourage.
Brighton currently want €30m, according to the report, which is half of what Sporting want for Morten Hjulmand, who is Juve’s main target.
Juventus will need sales before making an approach to Brighton.
Fabio Miretti, Douglas Luiz and Nico Gonzalez are candidates to depart. Depending on when they leave, Juve will make a move for O’Riley.
