Everton have just under a matter of days to bring in any more new faces ahead of the season kicking off this weekend.
David Moyes will be putting together his starting XI in his head on the back of the friendly at the weekend against AS Roma.
There could be one major change, with Jack Grealish set to sign at Everton over the coming hours on a season-long loan deal.
Everton may be closing in on the signing of the Manchester City forward, but there is still room for improvement.
Moyes is keen to sign a new winger, and he has been on the lookout to improve the right side of the attack since January.
There is one major issue in Everton’s pursuit of one target, as Bayern Munich have now entered the race to sign him.

Bayern Munich ready to sink Everton’s Malick Fofana dream
Everton hold an interest in Malick Fofana, with Lyon in need of selling some of their top assets this summer.
There is a major issue, though. Fofana is holding out for a move to a club who can offer him Champions League football.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
According to Tuttomercato, that club may have arrived, with Bayern Munich ready to show their interest in the Belgium international.
Kingsley Coman is set to depart Munich for Saudi Arabia, which will leave the Bundesliga champions in need of adding another forward.
Everton made a £31m bid for Fofana, but it looks as if one of Europe’s elite are ready to flex their muscles in the race to sign him.
Other options are on the radar. Everton hold an interest in Tyler Dibling, but that is another difficult deal for the Blues to pull off.
With Grealish set to be announced, Angus Kinnear can now shift his attention fully to securing a new right winger.
Everton need to sign a new right winger
Fortunately, Everton have the options – including Grealish – to field an exciting three behind their striker on Monday against Leeds United.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall really impressed Everton fans at the weekend on his debut against Roma.
He could start behind the striker in the number 10 position, with Iliman Ndiaye and potentially Jack Grealish either side of him.
However, Moyes will be keen to land a natural right winger before the window shuts.
Everton hold an interest in Leicester City’s Abdul Fatawu, with their Dibling efforts coming up short.
For now, Everton could live without a natural right winger, but a long season lies ahead, and Moyes will want plenty of cover.
