PHILADELPHIA — The Eagles staged a public practice Monday night at Lincoln Financial Field and nearly 50,000 fans donated $10.00 each to the team’s autism foundation to see Saquon Barkley, Jalen Hurts and the team’s other stars go through a padded practice.

That was a lot less money than season-ticket holders had to fork over to attend (or in many cases not attend) Thursday night’s preseason opener against the Cincinnati Bengals, which did not include in-game appearances by Barkley, Hurts or any of the Eagles’ other star players.
