Nottingham Forest offer not close to asking price – Deal now at standstill

On Monday, La Domenico Sportiva Estate reported that Crystal Palace have joined Nottingham Forest in a tussle for AC Milan’s Yunus Musah.

The outlet claimed that the Rossoneri could be happy with just €25m for the American.

Alfredo Pedulla reports more on the midfielder’s situation. While there is no mention of Crystal Palace, the journalist states that Napoli have enquired about the ex-Valencia player.

Over the last 72 hours though, the Italian champions have not made renewed contact and Nottingham Forest are the most active team in the race.

As of now, Nottingham Forest have an offer on the table but are focused on securing other targets.

Milan want €30m including easily achievable bonuses to sell the 22-year-old but so far, Nottingham Forest haven’t come close to that figure.

As a result, the deal is at a standstill and Nuno Espirito Santo’s side will have to make a new offer to sign the USA international.

Napoli had come close to signing Musah earlier in the summer but disagreements over bonuses made sure that a deal fell through at the very end.
