Milwaukee Bucks: Bobby Portis Has Bold to People Writing Them Off, Answers Whether This Year’s…

Milwaukee Bucks are not among the best team in the 2025-26 season. That’s what analyst say. Bookmakers have the same opinion. Bobby Portis want to disagree.

DraftKings thought the Bucks only have the 13th best odds to win the title because of their roster that lost multiple veterans. Brook Lopez is gone to the LA Clippers and they also lost their second best scorer in Damian Lillard who they waived amidst the prospect that he won’t be able to play a game at all next season.

BP does not buy such ranking his team is getting. He thinks it is wrong that they are being written off.

“I mean, what’s wrong with our team? Why can’t we do it this year?” he said when asked by ESPN Milwaukee host about how close the current squad are to getting back to the top.

“The only thing wrong with us is people being hurt.”

BP then continued to do a run down of their next postseasons, enumerating the names the players that got injured in each.

“2022, K-Midd go down. We lose in 7 to Boston. 2023, Giannis tried to dunk on K-Love. Giannis hurt his back. 2024 Giannis hurt his leg in the regular season and doesn’t play another game.”

Milwaukee Bucks’ current roster

The biggest difference between this team and the 2021 team is that they will not have another All-Star. Giannis Antetokounmpo had Khris Middleton back then. Jrue Holiday became an All-Star in 2023, the second in his career.

Myles Turner is arguably their next best player after the Greek Freak and Doc Rivers said last month that their new system is constructed to cater to their big men.

They also retained the shooters that excelled while playing Giannis last season namely Ryan Rollins, Gary Trent Jr., Kevin Porter Jr., and AJ Green.

Th newest additions are Cole Anthony and Gary Harris who both came from the Orlando Magic.

The ones who were not re-signed are Pat Connaughton and Brook Lopez who were both part of the 2021 squad.
