Most Premier League fans are expecting a lot from Everton this season, and pundits seem to agree.
With the new era of The Friedkin Group in full swing, the 2025/26 season presents the opportunity to show all of the hard work put in.
Having David Moyes at the helm is a big plus, with the 62-year-old knowing the Toffees inside and out.
This could give Everton a big boost ahead of the season, as the groundwork is really being put in now.
Despite the positivity, Owen Hargreaves sees Everton finishing 15th, as Micah Richards has also dropped a shock prediction.

Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer say mid-table for Everton but Micah Richards thinks top 10 finish
It’s clear that improvement is the aim this season, and anything else is an added bonus.
Moyes will want to stabilise Everton, and Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer believe this will be the case this campaign.
Speaking on The Rest Is Football, Lineker said: “I think mid-table again,” when explaining Everton’s final finish, as Shearer responded: “I think he’s a great manager (Moyes), he did a great job, I think he’ll continue to do that. Everton will be fine, in and around mid-table.”

But Richards threw a curveball and stated, “I’m gonna say top ten for Everton,” which is an improvement and more for the Toffees.
With the business being done at the moment, there is certainly a case for the Blues to secure a top ten finish, as Everton have stepped up their transfer plans.
Jack Grealish signing has boosted Everton’s Premier League chances
With The Friedkins not messing about in August after the signing of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, it’s clear that Jack Grealish’s arrival is the real statement.
Signing a player who was once worth £100 million is a rare feat for a club like the Toffees, but the Everton boss can get the best out of the winger to propel his side to the top ten.
Moyes thought Grealish was the Premier League’s ‘best’, and he could certainly be the key to the Merseyside club’s success this season.
More additions are in the pipeline, but with Grealish, Dewsbury-Hall, Thierno Barry, and more, Everton have got a real shot at fulfilling Richards’ claim.
