Manchester United have reportedly submitted a £69m bid for Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez.
The 22-year-old is the talk of transfer speculation this summer, despite recent reports claiming that he is unlikely to leave the Spanish giants.
Lopez enjoyed another productive campaign for Barca last term, scoring eight goals and providing nine assists across 46 competitive matches.
The midfielder gained further experience on the continental stage, as the Camp Nou club reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Since graduating from the club's academy in 2023, Lopez has featured on 88 occasions for Barcelona, finding the net 19 times.

Man United submit £69m offer for Barca star Lopez?
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Manchester United have made a major move in their pursuit of the Barcelona midfielder.
The report claims that the Red Devils have submitted an offer totalling £69m for the services of highly-rated star Lopez this summer.
It is understood that the 22-year-old could be tempted by the prospect of becoming a key first-team player at the Theatre of Dreams.
The same cannot be said at Barca, who are currently unable to guarantee the Spaniard a set spot in their first-choice midfield.
Due to their precarious financial situation, Hansi Flick's men are supposedly considering the offer from the 20-time English champions ahead of the final moments of the summer window.

Change of strategy from Man United
During the early part of the summer trading point, Manchester United targeted the captures of players proven in the Premier League.
The Red Devils were successful in their quests, bringing Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo from Wolverhampton Wanderers and Brentford respectively.
After signing Premier League talent, it appears that Man United are turning their attentions to promising players further afield.
