It has been a summer of outgoings and there could yet be more, however Wolves have today rejected a third bid for one of their players.
Wanderers are heading into the new season having had an exodus so far this summer.
Matheus Cunha, Rayan Ait-Nouri and Goncalo Guedes have been sold.
Pablo Sarabia, Craig Dawson and Nelson Semedo all left at the end of their contracts, with Carlos Forbs returning to Ajax after an unsuccessful loan spell at Molineux.
And Wolves have also sanctioned a few loan exits for Tommy Doyle, Boubacar Traore.
But one man who could yet be on his way out is Fabio Silva, who wants to leave Wolves.
It was recently claimed Silva and Wolves were both ‘adamant’ that a permanent move would be sanctioned this summer.
But Wolves want the best price, and there has now been an update on the situation.

Silva has been linked with many clubs this summer.
But recently Borussia Dortmund were claimed to have offered Silva a five-year contract.
The German club, who are in the Champions League for this season, want to sign Silva and had previously lodged a couple of bids.

But journalist Rudy Galetti has now reported on X that Dortmund have seen a third bid for Silva rejected by Wolves.
He said: “Wolves have turned down BVB’s third bid for Fabio Silva.
“The German side is already seeking solutions, while Wolves – asking €25m + €5m (€30 million/£26 million) and further increasing their valuation – see sporting director Domenico Teti who has refused to sit down and negotiate.”

Wolves getting £26m for Silva would be remarkable
Initially, it was suggested Wolves were asking for around £20 million for Silva, which would be a great sale.
But Galetti appears to be suggesting Wolves have now increased his valuation to around just under £26 million, and any sale at that price point would be brilliant.

Goals – 5
Assists – 6
Ultimately, Wolves would still be making a big loss on Silva, who cost £35.6 million to sign from FC Porto in 2020.
But one year ago, the idea of a £26 million fee for Silva would have been absolutely out of the question.
Given there are still several clubs in the picture, it will be fascinating to see where he ends up.
But Wolves simply have to make sure he is gone by the end of this window, given the player’s desire to leave and the fact he only has a year left on his deal (with Wolves holding a one-year extension option).
