Erling Haaland shared a heartfelt parting message ahead of Jack Grealish’s move to Everton.
The striker, who has become close friends with his Manchester City teammate, posted a series of pictures of the pair together on social media along with a light blue heart and an emoji depicting two hands making a heart shape.
Grealish was tagged in the message, which comes with the 29-year-oldon the verge of being announced as an Everton player.
Haaland was the first City player to acknowledge Grealish’s impending departure after talks accelerated over a season-long loan deal this week. They enjoyed immense success together, including winning the treble in 2022/23.
Despite playing a key role in that campaign, Grealish has since fallen out of favour at the Etihad and was open to a move this summer in the hope of reviving his career in a World Cup year.
That has led him to Everton, where he is expected to be announced as the sixth signing of the summer to date - following the permanent additions of Carlos Alcaraz, Thierno Barry, Mark Travers, Adam Aznou and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
