Erling Haaland sends five-word message to an Everton fan about Jack Grealish's loan move

Once Manchester City winger Jack Grealish completes his loan move to Everton, Erling Haaland is likely to miss one of his closest friends in football.

David Moyes convinced Grealish to join Everton on loan as the Scot believes he could help the Englishman return to his best.

Haaland has expressed his love for Grealish in the past, as he took to social media to question where he is while boarding a flight to the United States for the FIFA Club World Cup — a competition where the 29-year-old was excluded from City’s squad.

The star striker will have to become accustomed to life without the three-time Premier League winner at the Etihad Stadium next season.

Erling Haaland tells Everton fan to ‘take good care’ of Jack Grealish

While Erling Haaland is widely considered a model professional and his game is likely to remain at an elite level during the following campaign, playing alongside his mate, Grealish would have kept his spirits high.

However, it is part and parcel of football for players to leave and the Englishman is no different, with his teammate Savinho looking to join Tottenham Hotspur as well.

Jack Grealish revealed why he is close friends with Erling Haaland

Grealish will certainly miss being at Manchester City around his friends and teammates like Haaland, as the former has revealed why he gets along well with the latter off the pitch.

In October 2023, the England international told Manchester City’s official website: “I remember training with him for the first time in America in pre-season. Here we are now – a year down the line, a great guy.”

“He loves a joke, people say he looks so serious but off the pitch and when we’re chilling in the treatment room or dressing room, he loves a joke and a laugh.”

Grealish concluded: “He’s good to have around. That’s where we click quite a lot.”
