Manchester United target Carlos Baleba has reportedly approved of a potential move to the Theatre of Dreams this summer.
The Red Devils have turned their attentions to bolstering their midfield options, taking part in talks with the agent of the 21-year-old last week.
Baleba was a key man for Brighton & Hove Albion during the 2024-25 campaign, playing 34 Premier League matches in the engine room.
Bagging four goal contributions in the top flight along the way, the Cameroon international is known for his defensive actions and aerial abilities.
Following a permanent transfer from French club Lille to the South Coast in August 2023, Baleba has played 77 matches for Brighton.

Man United target Baleba 'green lights' Old Trafford switch
According to Fabrizio Romano via The Standard, Manchester United have received a major boost in their pursuit of Brighton star Baleba.
The report claims that the 21-year-old has approved of a potential move to Old Trafford - one which would bring his two-year spell with the Seagulls to an end.
It is understood that Man United are preparing a second bid for Baleba after seeing their initial advances for the player snubbed.
It is believed that the Red Devils attempted to include academy graduate Toby Collyer in the deal for the highly-rated Brighton enforcer.
The Seagulls are supposedly not looking to part ways with Baleba, who is valued at an eye-watering £105m by the South Coast outfit.

Man United making PL waves
After a sobering placement in the Premier League last season, Manchester United have moved decisively to avoid a similar fate this time around.
The Red Devils have already splashed out over £200m on reshaping their forward line, signing Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko.
Baleba could soon be the answer for Man United in the engine room, with the powers of Casemiro beginning to wane over recent years.
