Manchester United launched their third kit for the 2025/26 Premier League season along with a new pair of adidas shoes designed "for loyal fans"

Manchester United have released an ‘iconic’ piece of footwear to mark the launch of their new third kit. On Tuesday, the club launched the Manchester United adidas Originals Gazelle Trainers.
They have been designed to match the new 2025/26 third kit, coming in utility black suede and adidas’ classic three stripes in preloved yellow. They also feature the club crest on the heel and ‘MANCHESTER UNITED’ in gold-foil text on the outer edge.
Adidas said it created the ‘iconic’ shoes ‘for loyal Manchester United fans’, saying: “These adidas Gazelle shoes will keep you comfortable whether you’re headed to the game or kicking back at home. Manchester United’s third kit colours and crest show who you follow.”
The Manchester United adidas Originals Gazelle are available from Fanatics and JD Sports for £100. It comes as the club launched its 2025/26 third kit ahead of the new season, which is said to be a ‘bold reimagining rooted in 90s nostalgia’.
It is inspired by the black away kit worn between 1993 and 1995, including when the club won the Double for the first time in 1993/94. The black base fabric features a subtle club devil motif woven directly into the design, alongside a black-and-yellow shield crest with yellow-and-blue accents on the collar and cuffs.
The third shirt is finished with three adidas stripes in bold yellow across the shoulders and the Trefoil logo in yellow on the chest. Man United’s first game of the new campaign comes on August 17 as they host Arsenal at Old Trafford, but the club have not confirmed when they will wear the third kit for the first time.

Following the launch, Man United fans flocked to social media to share their reactions, with some hailing it as ‘the best jersey in decades’. Writing on X, one said: “This is the best jersey in decades, and needs King Cantona wearing it.”
