Alexander Isak to Liverpool is turning into the transfer saga of the summer.
Indeed, Liverpool want to sign Isak and Isak wants to leave Newcastle.
Of course, when you’re dealing with arguably the best striker in the world, things aren’t quite that simple.
Indeed, Newcastle are making things difficult for Alexander Isak and Liverpool, but the striker has shown his intent to leave.
It was reported this week that Isak’s house is on the market as he’s looking to move, but speaking on his YouTube channel, Craig Hope has been discussing this situation and he’s shared the real reason why Isak is moving home.

Alexander Isak was always planning a move
According to Hope, Isak was always planning to move house this summer.
Sadly, Isak has been the victim of multiple burglaries in recent times, and with safety concerns in mind, he’s looking to move.
“Another question that has come in a lot, there was a story today about Alexander Isak putting his house on the market,” Hope said.
“Now, that has been around for a few weeks. I was going to run the story in July, but I thought better of it because I didn’t think it was fair.
“Alexander Isak was always going to move from the house he’s currently in. It’s been on the market for a month or so now.
“I was told he was always going to move, it was a 12 month lease, he’s been burgled twice, even if he stays as a Newcastle player, what I’m told is that he had no desire to remain in that house.
“He has no desire really to remain on Tyneside, of course he wants to go, but in regards to that property itself yeah, the reason is that he’s been burgled twice there guys, he doesn’t want to stay there.”
Joelinton was also burgled
Sadly, Isak’s situation is all too familiar for Premier League footballers.
Indeed, as some of the richest people in the country, footballers are often targeted by criminal activity, especially during away matches when the perpetrators know there’s nobody home.
Joelinton has also been burgled twice since joining Newcastle, writing a heartbreaking message on Instagram after the second offence:
“To anyone considering doing this: please know that there is nothing valuable left here,” Joelinton wrote, via the BBC.
He added: “What we care about most is our family’s safety and our kids growing up without fear.
“We hope for a community where our children, and everyone’s children, feel safe.
“We simply want to live in peace.”
Ultimately, there are things more important than football at play here, and regardless of where his next move is, we can only hope that Isak isn’t targeted in the same way wherever he decides to move next.
