Amorim doesn’t see Man Utd winger in his future plans

Man Utd face exit issues over Alejandro Garnacho, as Ruben Amorim wants him out of his plans.

Amorim wants Man Utd winger out of his squad

**Manchester United**’s summer rebuild under Ruben Amorim has been bold and expensive. Stars like Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko have arrived for nearly £200m. Yet, while new faces have brought in, the exits are still to take place.

The biggest fee so far has come indirectly through a sell-on clause in Anthony Elanga’s £55m switch to Newcastle. That makes the Garnacho situation even more pressing. Amorim has made it clear he sees no role for the winger this season despite his flashes of brilliance.

Meanwhile, Man Utd believe Chelsea are ready to take him. But, transfer talks are on hold at the moment. So, that leaves the club stuck in a risky position. Without a sale, the Red Devils could see their summer budget plans crumble in the final weeks of the transfer window.

Garnacho’s future still unclear

At the start of the summer, Garnacho was a hot property. He attracted interest from top clubs in Italy, Spain and England. Napoli were among the frontrunners alongside Chelsea. But, Garnacho’s own wishes have narrowed the field. .

First, he insisted on staying in the PL. Then, he doubled down by declaring Chelsea under Enzo Maresca as his only preferred destination. This has stripped Man Utd of bargaining power and left Todd Boehly’s club in the driver’s seat.

If Chelsea decide to walk away, the Red Devils would be left scrambling to revive old interest. The club will have to settle for a lower fee in a much-needed late-window sale. For a club that needs sales to balance their high spending, that could be a costly blow. Garnacho may be a top talent but right now his future is a worry United can’t afford.
