Tottenham Hotspur have reopened talks with Crystal Palace winger Eberechi Eze over a move to N17 this summer.
TBR Football understands that Tottenham have made contact with Eze’s camp and are now looking at the possibility of doing a deal with Crystal Palace.
James Maddison’s knee injury looks set to see him miss the majority of the new season, so signing another number ten will be crucial for Spurs.
The Crystal Palace attacker now looks to be a key target for Tottenham again, but Arsenal remain in the race to sign Eze.
Thomas Frank’s team hold one advantage, though, which could help them to sign the forward.

Eberechi Eze is close to Tottenham assistant coach Justin Cochrane
Eberechi Eze is believed to have a close relationship with Tottenham Hotspur’s assistant manager, Justin Cochrane, according to Paul O’Keefe.
Cochrane is also part of the England coaching set-up and the pair will likely know each other, having spent time together with the Three Lions.
The 43-year-old will know how good Eze is and after losing Maddison to injury, he could well have been the man pushing for the England international to be signed.
Tottenham appointed Cochrane as part of Frank’s coaching staff in N17 following his impressive work alongside the Dane at Brentford.
Brentford were keen to appoint Cochrane as the man to replace Frank, but Spurs managed to convince him to make the switch across the capital instead.
The England coach could now play a key role in helping convince Eze to join Tottenham, with Arsenal still lurking in the background.
The Gunners remain undecided about whether to move for the 27-year-old, as they look to move players on first before submitting an offer.
Arsenal fans are unsure about signing Eze, with the club’s supporters keen to sign a player who can play as an out-and-out left winger.
Tottenham are also working on Savinho deal
TBR Football can also reveal that Tottenham are in talks over a deal for Savinho, with the Brazilian winger having concerns over his game time ahead of the World Cup.
But, Man City will make a deal for Savinho tricky, as they are keen not to lose the 21-year-old at this stage.
The winger started just 21 times in the Premier League last term, and he will be keen to be playing as many minutes as possible to break into Brazil’s World Cup squad.
The North London club are pushing to sign the attacker and will need to pay at least £50m plus bonuses to get him.
