AUSTIN, Texas — The talk about Quinn Ewers' struggles in his first preseason game for the Miami Dolphins reflecting poorly on Arch Manning is misplaced.
Ewers was 5-of-18 passing for 91 yards with two fumbles in an NFL preseason game against the Chicago Bears.
It was a surprising performance considering Ewers had been showing improvement in the 10 days leading up to the preseason game.
