James Harden of the Los Angeles Clippers has played with a number of iconic, legendary players throughout his historic career.
But if he were forced to manufacture a lineup featuring only his former teammates, who would he go with?
A new video shed insight into Harden’s choice, and he created a team that would be hard to beat.
“Kyrie, Russ, me, KD, and Joel. I like that team. Small team on the floor. Got handles. Could shoot,” Harden said, via NBACentral.

The idea of Harden on the court with Kyrie Irving, Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant, and Joel Embiid is certainly tantalizing, and they would likely win a lot of games.
This dream lineup is a reminder of just how great of a career Harden has had.
He has played with some of the biggest names of all time and has found a lot of great success, but he has still fallen short of his ultimate goal: a championship.
Will that change with the Clippers?
They were healthier than usual last season and did some great work in the playoffs, but they still didn’t go all the way.
With a few roster tweaks and additions this summer, they hope that won’t be the case in 2025-26.
It’s interesting that Harden didn’t choose anyone from his current team, including future Hall of Famer Kawhi Leonard.
But, again, this shows just how much talent he has been with throughout his years in the league.
Harden’s legacy will be because of how he played and the accolades he earned on his own.
But it’ll also be because of the amazing players he performed with.
