Kostas Tsimikas is lucky enough to play with some utterly incredible players at Liverpool.
Indeed, Kostas Tsimikas plays in a truly world-class team under Arne Slot, and he has a Premier League winners’ medal from last season to prove it.
Speaking to Goal, Tsimikas has been tasked with listing his five favourite players in world football to watch.
As you can imagine, the usual suspects such as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo got mentions.
However, according to Tsimikas, two of his favourite players to watch are in fact a pair of his Liverpool teammates.

Kostas Tsimikas names his favourite players to watch
Tsimikas was asked to name his five favourite players to watch in world football.
The left-back picked five massive names as he picked Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe in the first three spots.
However, Tsimikas reserved the top two spots for both Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, claiming that the Dutch defender is his favourite player to watch in world football.
Van Dijk isn’t quite as skilful as the likes of Mbappe or Messi, but he is a Rolls Royce of a player who makes Premier League football look so easy.
Tsimikas says Van Dijk is his favourite player to watch, and this isn’t the first time the Greek has hailed his teammate.
Indeed, Tsimikas was full of praise for Van Dijk a few years ago, claiming that he thinks he’s the best defender in the world.
“For me, personally he is the best defender I’ve seen with my eyes, he’s so big, so fast and so strong,” Tsimikas said.
“He’s very strong, he wins all of his duels and that’s why he makes it look so easy.”
Tsimikas knows better than most just how good Van Dijk is having trained with him on a daily basis for years at this point.
Sadly, Tsimikas’ time at Anfield may be coming to an end, and, if he does leave, it’s unlikely he’ll ever play with another player as talented as the Liverpool captain.
