2-time NBA champ marries ‘Big Brother’ alum

HOUSTON -- Oklahoma City Thunder guard and two-time NBA champion Alex Caruso married “Big Brother” alumna Haleigh Broucher on Saturday in Texas.

Caruso, 31, and Broucher, 28, tied the knot at The Astorian in Houston, according to People. The ceremony was attended by Caruso’s Thunder teammates, including Chet Holmgren, Jaylin Williams, Luguentz Dort, Isaiah Hartenstein, Isaiah Joe and Cason Wallace, his former Chicago Bulls teammates Coby White, Javonte Green and Ayo Dosunmu, Sacramento Kings star Zach LaVine and “Big Brother” alum Angela Rummans.

Caruso and Broucher, a season 20 alumna of reality TV show “Big Brother,” previously announced their engagement in an Instagram post in August 2024. The two met while they both attended Texas A&M University, but their relationship didn’t begin until 2022.

Their wedding took place less than two months after Caruso helped lead the Thunder to winning the 2025 NBA championship over the Indiana Pacers in his first season with the team. It marked his second career NBA title, along with winning the 2020 NBA championship while with the Los Angeles Lakers.

“The double champ does what tf he wants!,” Broucher wrote in a celebratory Instagram post in June. “so proud of this man, this team, and this organization ❤️ THUNDER ALL THE WAY UP! #thunderup.”

For his eight-year NBA career, Caruso is averaging 6.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists across 22.3 minutes in 417 games played for the Lakers, Bulls and Thunder.
