Jack Grealish could be set to haunt Leeds United in their Premier League opener.
Daniel Farke‘s side host Everton on 18 August as Leeds return to the top-flight following promotion from the Championship.
The Manchester City star is set to be announced as a Blues player shortly, after an agreement was reached over a season-long loan.
Grealish could make his Everton debut at Elland Road, so MOT Leeds News looks at his record against the Whites and why he is hated by supporters.

Leeds fans vs Grealish started at Aston Villa
Grealish had been mooted as a potential signing for Leeds, but that would never have taken off due to the hostile relationship between the two parties.
MORE LEEDS STORIES
While neutral supporters dislike Grealish as a result of his arrogant nature and his perceived diving, the reason that Whites fans do not like him is a bit more nuanced.
When he played for Aston Villa in April 2019, he was down injured and the Peacocks went onto score, which ultimately ended in a mass brawl and Marcelo Bielsa’s side giving a goal back, and the game finished 1-1, ending Leeds’ chances at promotion.
The intense rivalry between the Villans’ ace and Leeds would be further emphasised by a tweet that Grealish sent after another tense encounter.
His side came out 1-0 winners in February 2021, and while he was not on the pitch through injury, he still riled up the Leeds supporters.
He took to social media after the contest and taunted the Peacocks’ supporters, saying: “What a time to be alive.”
Rivalry explodes at Manchester City
Another controversial incident involving the new Toffees ace was when he played for Manchester City.
The LS11 outfit were beaten 4-0 by Pep Guardiola’s side, but that was not the main headline, for the Whites anyway.
Legendary defender Stuart Dallas tried to tackle Grealish and suffered a fractured femur and heavy knee damage, effectively ending his career as despite surgeries and an extensive rehabilitation, he never fully recovered and was forced to retire in 2024.
But that can’t be blamed on the England international.
What is Grealish’s record v Leeds?
Grealish has faced the Yorkshire outfit on nine occasions, only being on the losing side twice, drawing three matches and winning four times.
In terms of his contributions, he has notched one goal and four assists, with the only goal coming in a 7-0 win for City in December 2021.
Two of the assists came in a 3-1 win for Guardiola’s side in December 2022, and the other two were for Villa home and away in the 2017/18 campaign.
He could now come back and wind up Farke’s side once again.
