With that being said, there already has been one speeding incident with Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders earlier this offseason. Well, according to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, she reported,

“#Browns Myles Garrett cited at 2:01 a.m. Saturday for going 100 mph in a 60 mph zone in Strongsville after the team landed from Charlotte. He had vowed to slow down after flipping his Porsche. The team is aware. Garrett can pay the $250 fine and doesn’t have to appear in court.”

This is not the first time that Myles Garrett has had issues with driving. With that being said, he signed a contract extension with the Browns earlier this offseason.

It is not a surprise that Browns fans commented on Garrett’s latest incident when traveling. This is what some Cleveland fans had to say about it on Twitter:

My sources tell me that Georgia has already contacted Myles to find out if he has any eligibility left.

He is lucky a $250 fine is all he has to pay. In some states he would be charged with reckless driving.

Come on Myles man WTF?

Gotta do better than this as a leader of the team.

— Harbinger (@Harbinger_X14) August 11, 2025

Wow, what a reckless “leader”. Was he leaving Shedeur’s house?

Well, luckily Garrett did not get himself injured or anyone else for that matter when speeding. This is the second time during the summer that the Browns have had to deal with a player speeding.
