Tottenham Hotspur are assessing a move for Crystal Palace forward Eberechi Eze as they seek extra cutting edge in the final third following James Maddison’s long‑term knee injury. Multiple sources indicate Eze is a leading target at this stage but the race is on to sign the forward with arch-rivals Arsenal also long-time admirers of the former QPR man.
Eze’s blend of ball-carrying, set‑piece threat and composure in tight spaces aligns with Tottenham’s high‑tempo approach, who have emerged as the bookies favourite. He is comfortable drifting between the lines, commits defenders and carries a consistent goal threat from open play and dead balls alike.
The transfer link comes just 24 hours after club chairman Steve Parish admitted key players such as captain Marc Guehi will be sold if the price is right. Eze’s homegrown status and proven Premier League record add premium value, while his versatility across the front line would give Tottenham immediate flexibility in both league and European fixtures.
