Vince Carter is an NBA legend and icon who is respected by players and beloved by fans.
Throughout his 22 years in the league, he played with a ton of talented stars, some of whom never spent much time on the floor.
But Carter has a message for all NBA fans who think that bench players aren’t worth much.
He said just because someone isn’t suiting up and playing in games often doesn’t mean they’re bad.
In fact, they could still outplay just about any normal person on the court.
“The everyday fan, I want y’all to understand. Just because you look at the end of that bench, you see that guy that doesn’t play, he will kill you,” Carter said, via Fullcourtpass.

This is a valid point and one that many people seem to forget.
The league is filled with players who spend most of their time on the bench.
They rarely play more than a few minutes, if they even play at all.
But that doesn’t mean they aren’t talented players, and it doesn’t mean they couldn’t clean up on the court when facing off against casual fans and players.
After all, they are in the NBA for a reason, no matter how much time they get in games.
Carter will always be a huge part of the NBA and is a Hall of Famer and eight-time All-Star.
But he will also remain a fan of the game.
He is one of the few people who knows what it takes to play in the league, and he wants to ensure that everyone – no matter their presence on the court – is respected.
