Manchester United are in the market for a new goalkeeper this summer and PSG star Gianluigi Donnarumma is among the contenders.
It is still not clear who will start between the sticks for Manchester United in their Premier League opener against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.
Andre Onana has returned to training following his hamstring injury, but with no pre-season minutes under his belt, he would be thrown into the deep end against the Gunners.
Meanwhile, Altay Bayindir has impressed in pre-season and could start against Arsenal, but his future at United is still cloudy.
United have been linked to Senne Lammens as one potential option, while another avenue is for the Red Devils to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Gianluigi Donnarumma has four glaring weaknesses
Onana’s frequent mistakes last season have caused plenty of concern around United’s goalkeeping options, which explains why Ineos are considering a move for Donnarumma.
Donnarumma is a Ballon d’Or nominee and a recent winner of the Champions League with PSG – his achievements speak for themselves, but that doesn’t mean he is flawless.
In fact, according to WhoScored, Donnarumma has four major weaknesses to his game.

They claim Donnarumma ranks poorly when it comes to “long passing”, “discipline”, “catching crosses” and “concentration” compared to other goalkeepers around Europe.
Those concerns are confirmed by statistical analysis from FBref, who only rank Donnarumma in the 39th percentile for save percentage.
There is a reason why PSG are so eager to offload Donnarumma this season, and the stats suggest United should be very cautious.
Why Man United should avoid signing Gianluigi Donnarumma
Not only are there clear flaws in Donnarumma’s game, but signing the Italian shot-stopper would not come cheap.
Donnarumma is available for £26m according to reports, which appears a good deal for a 26-year-old goalkeeper still yet to hit his prime.
But at PSG, Donnarumma currently earns £200,000 per week and United would likely have to match that salary to bring him to Old Trafford.

Ineos have regained control of United’s wage bill, and spending big on Donnarumma feels unnecessary when a brilliant alternative in Lammens is available.
Spending money on Donnarumma will also subtract from the funds available to sign Carlos Baleba this summer.
