Fabrizio Romano shares what he's heard this afternoon about Everton reigniting Tyler Dibling…

Everton could still look to sign Southampton starlet Tyler Dibling, Fabrizio Romano has exclusively told GIVEMESPORT's 'Market Madness' podcast - despite the Toffees all but completing a loan move to sign England star Jack Grealish in those positions out wide.

The Toffees had made a move to sign the Saints youngster earlier in the window, with their initial £27million bid for his services being turned down, whilst their third bid in the saga was totalled at around £40million. However, Southampton turned that down by looking for £50million for their mantlepiece star - which has ultimately forced David Moyes away from a move for Dibling's signature in recent weeks.

Romano: Everton 'Could Still Enter' Race for Tyler Dibling Despite Grealish Addition

Grealish is now set to join after falling behind in the pecking order at Manchester City, with the Toffees thought to be paying around £15million to take the Premier League stalwart into their ranks for the upcoming season, as well as having a £50million option to buy clause in the deal taking him to the Hill Dickinson Stadium if he can find his best form on Merseyside.

But despite the metrics involved in a deal to land the treble winner, an Everton move for Dibling hasn't been ruled out, with Romano stating that the Toffees could still enter the race for him again despite Grealish being close. He said exclusively on GIVEMESPORT's 'Market Madness' podcast:

"Look, at the moment, they believe that prices is too high, and so this is why they've left the conversations. They left the table.

"They focused on the Jack Grealish deal in the recent days - so after these negotiations for Tyler Dibling last week, they decided to focus on Grealish.

"Now let's see if may the price changes, or if Southampton can welcome a different kind of approach in terms of the structure of the deal. Maybe Everton can still enter the race again.

"At the moment, it's still quiet around Dibling because the price is very high, and Southampton as of today have no plans to change their stance. So let's see, because in the market, something these things can happen."

Everton currently have Grealish, Dwight McNeil, Iliman Ndiaye and Charly Alcaraz as their options to impress on the wing, which could see Dibling's minutes suffer if he was to join.

However, one of Ndiaye or Grealish could go behind the striker to free up space on the right, where Dibling would be at his best to learn his craft continuously in the top-flight.
