The Tennessee Titans played against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for their first preseason game on Saturday and lost 7-29. They traveled to Atlanta this week and will have joint practices with the Atlanta Falcons on Tuesday and Wednesday. The Titans will wrap up this week by playing against the Falcons for their second preseason game on Friday.
The team is not close to full health with many players battling injuries, including a key offensive starter.

Lloyd Cushenberry III sustained a torn Achilles in Week 9, resulting in the Titans placing him on the active/physically unable to perform (PUP) list to start training camp. As a result, the starting center has missed the first three weeks of camp. Cushenberry awaits full medical clearance, nine months removed from the injury, with three and a half weeks until the start of the regular season.

According to Jim Wyatt of the team’s website, Lloyd Cushenberry III has passed his physical, and the Titans have activated him from the PUP list on Monday. He is not expected to fully participate in practice yet, and the plan is to ease him in to avoid the risk of aggravation. The expectation is for Cushenberry to be ready for the start of the regular season.
The @Titans have signed QB Trevor Siemian and waived QB Tim Boyle.
Also, center Lloyd Cushenberry has passed his physical and is being activated from PUP.
