According to Trevor Lane, the Lakers hired Jeremy Holsopple as their head strength and conditioning coach.
As noted by numerous sources, Holsopple used to work for the Dallas Mavericks before he was fired in an attempt to change Doncic’s approach to the game.
At the time, Doncic was quoted as saying, “They get rid of everybody I like.”

Holsopple is seen as one of he best strength and conditioning experts in the league, and he will bring a ton of great expertise to the team.
Beyond that, he is someone close to Doncic, and this move will definitely boost team morale and the happiness and well-being of their biggest star.
There have been numerous complaints about Doncic and his physical state over the years.
With the inclusion of Holsopple, the Lakers are hoping to address that.
Recent photos and videos have shown that Doncic is taking his conditioning very seriously this year, and he appears in really great shape, ready to storm into the new season and make a huge impact in the West.
Holsopple’s job will be to ensure that Doncic keeps it up and stays healthy for the entire season.
