**Liverpool are waiting patiently for the situation with Alexander Isak to come to a head at Newcastle United.**

However, Newcastle still hold his contract, and with three years to run on it, they are in no rush to simply let him leave because he's kicking up a stink.
There's a feeling that if Newcastle can bring in a suitable replacement in the transfer window, Isak may be allowed to leave, but the price would still have to be right.

It's a strange day when we're printing Gabby Agbonlahor quotes and agreeing with him, but we have to give credit where it's due here; he's got it spot on.
As for whether Isak would even be welcomed back into the squad by the other players is a huge question in itself, but his biggest worry will be how the fans will react if he's reinstated to the side.
There was a point where we could have forgiven and forgotten, but we feel that Isak has skipped way past that line now. It's surely game over for him at Newcastle now.
