Denzel Washington does not approve of Jerry Jones’ handling of the Dallas Cowboys. On Tuesday, Washington appeared on ESPN’s First Take to promote his new movie “Highest 2 Lowest.”

During his appearance, Washington, a longtime Cowboys fan, ripped into Jones and his handling of the Cowboys in recent years.

“There’s box office and there’s Oscars,” Washington said. “Jerry, been a while, huh? You ain’t been to the show, you wouldn’t know. Haven’t been to the show, so you wouldn’t know what it is to win.”

Washington went on to explain why he decided to call out Jones on live TV.

“I love the Cowboys! I love the Cowboys because I really love them. This is why I feel the way I feel. All money ain’t good money, Jerry.’

“I played for the Boys Club in Mt. Vernon, and the club I grew up with, we were called the Red Raiders. I wanted to go to Texas Tech because they were the Red Raiders. Which got me involved with Texas football, so I started watching Texas — the University of Texas, all of them. Then I landed with the Cowboys and I ain’t stopped since.”
