Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews that we think you guys could have missed today…
Former Manchester United star turned Pundit Owen Hargreaves has opened up and tipped summer signing Estevao Willian to be a very exciting player for CHELSEA.
Estevao scored 27 goals in 83 appearances for boyhood club Palmeiras, quickly establishing himself as one of the most highly-rated players in Brazil, and a player that many believe could be the next Neymar.
Despite only turning 18 earlier in the year, Estevao has already earned five caps for Brazil and received praise from national team boss Carlo Ancelotti, formerly of Real Madrid.
He has already made his debut for Chelsea in pre-season and already netted his first goal, with many Blues fans getting very excited about what they have seen of the lad already in that Chelsea shirt.
And after seeing the lad in action, Asked who he views as Chelsea’s most exciting summer signing, the former England midfielder told TNT Sports: ‘Estevao… this kid is like Cole Palmer with his style of play.
‘I think people are going to be blown away by him. Obviously he’s very young but talent-wise, he’s going to get people off their seats.
‘Him and Palmer together with Joao Pedro as well… I mean, if Chelsea just add a goalkeeper they’ll be in the top-four, for sure.’

You cant really judge too much from pre-season as the Premier League is the toughest in the world and a place that Estevao will have to get used too. He looks very impressive, but he is still very young.
If he gets the chances to prove himself, he can be a great asset to this CHELSEA side. But that is only if he gets the minutes and game time that he needs to develop.
He does look like an exciting player, but he is joining one of the best sides in the game, so the pressure will be massive
BROJA EXCITED WITH MOVE
Striker Armando Broja finally ended his CHELSEA nightmare this transfer window after it was confirmed just a few days ago that he’s joined Burnley on a five-year deal from the Blues.
Broja signed his first contract in professional football with Chelsea in 2020. A spell in the Netherlands at Vitesse, where he scored 10 league goals in 30 appearances, was followed by another loan period at Southampton, where he went on to make 32 Premier League appearances, scoring six goals.
After returning to parent club CHELSEA, Broja spent a short period on loan with Fulham for the second half of the 2023/24 campaign, before another stint away from Stamford Bridge last season, this time on Merseyside with Everton.
Upon signing for the Clarets, Broja said: “I am really excited to be here as a Burnley player. It’s a really positive time to be joining this club ahead of the start of the new Premier League season. I can’t wait to get going!”
He added: “I’m feeling good, I’m ready and I’m excited about the challenge of playing for this club. I can already feel the support from the Burnley fans – I can tell you all that I will be giving my all every time I pull on the famous Claret shirt.”

There was a time that Broja could have been the main man at CHELSEA, he has all the physical qualities to be a top striker, he could just never really fulfil his potential at the Blues and needed this move away.
He has alot of Premier League experience and could be a 20 goals a season player for Burnley, if they are able to keep the player fit on a weekly basis. But as we said, this is a move that needed to happen and Burnley have got themselves a very good forward.
JACKSON WANTS NEWCASTLE MOVE
Nicolas Jackson favours a move to Newcastle United should he leave CHELSEA but faces a battle to be allowed to move on, it has been reported in the media this week as the striker looks for a move away from the Blues.
Chelsea have been very busy this transfer window, they have spent over £250 million on bringing in new players to improve many areas of the squad and now look like a side that can challenge for that Premier League title next season.

Joao Pedro and Liam Delap have both arrived this transfer window, which means that Enzo Maresca does not need to have Jackson in the side and there has been alot of speculation about where he could end up this transfer window.
The Telegraph say Jackson is keen to move to St James’ Park and join a Newcastle team who won the Carabao Cup last season and will be playing Champions League football this term.
