With the 2025 summer transfer window set to close on September 1, Arsenal are planning a major reshuffle as manager Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta aim to generate funds and free up squad space for potential new arrivals.

The Gunners remain strongly linked with Crystal Palace playmaker Eberechi Eze but will need to offload several fringe players to finance any big-money moves. Belgian winger Leandro Trossard, valued at around £20 million, has drawn interest from top European clubs as well as clubs in Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

Oleksandr Zinchenko could also be on his way out, with the Ukrainian behind Myles Lewis-Skelly and Riccardo Calafiori in the left-back pecking order and carrying an estimated price tag of £25 million.

Midfielder Fabio Vieira is in talks over a £20 million switch to Stuttgart, significantly lower than the £35 million Arsenal paid Porto in 2022. Fulham are keen to bring back Reiss Nelson after his successful loan spell, while Jakub Kiwior, Albert Sambi Lokonga, and goalkeeper Karl Hein are also on the potential departures list.

Kiwior’s situation is attracting particular attention. The 25-year-old Polish defender, signed from Spezia for £20 million in January 2023, has made over 50 appearances but remains behind Gabriel Magalhaes, William Saliba, and Calafiori in Arteta’s plans.

Arsenal are holding firm on a €35 million (£30.3 million) valuation, rejecting Porto’s €27 million package and deterring other suitors, including AC Milan, Bologna, Inter Milan, Villarreal, and Crystal Palace.

Arteta is keen to keep Kiwior as a versatile squad option, but with the player seeking regular game time ahead of international duty, his future could hinge on late-window offers.

The Athletic’s James McNicholas reports that Kiwior is willing to leave Arsenal in search of regular first-team football. However, the Gunners are in no hurry to sanction his exit, and no suitor has yet matched their valuation.

Several exits have already been finalised, including Jorginho to Flamengo, Kieran Tierney to Celtic, Nuno Tavares to Lazio for £4.3 million, and Marquinhos to Cruzeiro. Thomas Partey and Takehiro Tomiyasu have also been released.
