The newest name to feature on Leeds’ shortlist of targets is Juventus winger Nicolas Gonzalez, an Argentine international and a regular for his club in the one year he’s spent in Turin.
The Yorkshire Evening Post revealed after the AC Milan draw that he’s a player of interest at Elland Road and could be pursued as a response to the failed Igor Paixao pursuit.

Leeds’ last arrival came on July 26 and fans are rightly becoming frustrated at the lack of movement, and therefore the lack of readiness of Farke’s attack for Everton’s trip up to West Yorkshire.

Leeds’ hopes of the Argentine being an attainable signing for United in the final weeks of the window have been handed a boost.
That’s because Juventus are open to letting the winger leave after just a year at the club following a €40million (£34.5million) move from Fiorentina – according to Football Italia.
Fellow Serie A clubs Atalanta and Inter Milan are named in the report as monitoring Gonzalez’s situation, while Saudi Arabia could be a possible destination for the 27-year-old.

Gonzalez’s time at Juventus hasn’t exactly gone to plan, but there’s still an incredibly talented player there and one that would walk into our starting lineup.
His goalscoring form at Fiorentina is what earned his move to Turin, and it’s worth noting that many have moved to Juve and struggled, so an exit might yet bring the best out of Gonzalez.
His versatility is another vital asset that Leeds could do with in their attack, knowing he could feature anywhere across the front line and produce results.
