Reigning La Liga champions Barcelona have this week been tipped to retain their come the close of the season ahead.

This comes after a fresh round of predictions on the part of statisticians Opta’s ‘supercomputer’.

Hansi Flick’s troops are of course fresh off an all-conquering domestic campaign in 2024/25, which saw the Blaugrana dominate en route to a silverware treble.

And according to Opta’s data, Barca should be considered the clear favourites to go all the way in La Liga once more this coming term.

As showcased below, the Catalans boast league-best odds of 46.5% of clinching the title in 2025/26.

Behind them, unsurprisingly, are arch rivals Real Madrid, who, following the appointment of Xabi Alonso, are considered to have a 32.1% chance of wrestling back Spanish football supremacy.

Rounding out the podium places are Diego Simeone’s Atlético Madrid, albeit some way back with odds of just 11.7%.
