Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry is preparing for his 17th NBA season. Already a four-time champion, two-time MVP and the league’s all-time leader in 3-pointers, Curry is just adding to what is already a first-ballot Hall of Fame resume.
As he pursues a fifth title in Golden State, Curry is also active off the court. Last week, the 37-year-old guard announced the return of his Curry Camp in partnership with Under Armour. This summer, Curry will be taking his offseason camp to Asia for the first time.
While that news caught attention last week, Curry was not done making announcements.

On Tuesday, Curry and Under Armour announced The Series 7 by Curry Brand. A press release was sent out, and is also featured on the Under Armour website.
“Forged to meet the demands of Stephen’s constant motion and explosive playing style, the Series 7 introduces a brand-new silhouette that also delivers a performance edge that few can match,” the release read. “Combining cutting-edge innovation with a laser focus on court control and feel, this is a basketball shoe engineered for the future of the game.”
Curry included a statement that read, “The whole concept behind the Series 7 was to create something completely new—taking that super-critical foam typically used in running shoes and bringing it to the basketball court.”

Known for being the NBA’s most-active player off the ball, Curry is in constant motion during a basketball game. That is why these shoes are so fitting, as they take technology from running shoes and integrate them into basketball sneakers.
“I’ve never worn a shoe that feels this light yet this sturdy, with the perfect balance of court feel and cushioning,” Curry added in Tuesday’s announcement. “Hands down, it’s the best basketball shoe I’ve ever worn.”
Steph Curry’s History With Under Armour
Curry first joined Under Armour in 2013. In 2020, Curry Brand was launched. Three years later, Curry and Under Armour inked a contract that extends beyond his playing days (via ESPN).
“We started with the signature business, and with the opportunity to deepen the partnership, with an expectation of it going past my playing days and the added investment in the great things that we both bring to the table, it’s an exciting time to strengthen that partnership,” Curry said in 2023 after reaching this agreement. “We understand that it’s a mutually beneficial venture to do some great things, build a great roster, build more scale to the business and create great storytelling.”
ESPN projected in 2023 that Curry’s partnership with Under Armour could exceed his NBA earnings, which as of 2025 have eclipsed $410 million (via Spotrac). His value to the brand has been among the most notable of any professional athlete, and it continues to show as Curry and Under Armour unveil The Series 7.
