Alejandro Garnacho's tenure at Manchester United seems to be drawing to a close, following recent revelations about his future.
Earlier this summer, the Manchester Evening News disclosed that Ruben Amorim had given Garnacho the green light to find a new club. This decision was made after the winger voiced his disappointment at being omitted from the starting lineup for the club's Europa League final defeat to Tottenham.
Chelsea have since expressed interest in the winger and are now keen to seal a deal before the September 1 deadline. In a fresh update by Fabrizio Romano, he reports that the Blues have "ramped up" their pursuit of the Argentinian and negotiations between the clubs are "well underway".

Garnacho reportedly favours staying in the Premier League and is particularly interested in a move to Chelsea exclusively.
Personal terms with the west London club have reportedly already been settled, with discussions now allegedly centred on the transfer fee.

Romano further suggests that Garnacho is "destined" to become a Chelsea player this summer.
If Garnacho departs, he would be the second player to exit Old Trafford out of the five who notified the club of their desire to leave at the start of summer. Marcus Rashford departed United last month on loan to Barcelona.
The futures of Antony, Jadon Sancho, and Tyrell Malacia remain uncertain.

Antony is eager to return to Real Betis, where he experienced a career revival, with Spanish reports suggesting Betis are confident of re-signing the Brazilian.
Meanwhile, Sancho has reportedly caught the attention of AS Roma, Juventus, and Inter Milan. On the other hand, Malacia spent the latter half of the previous season on loan at PSV, but the Dutch club chose not to make the move permanent.
He's been seen training with non-league side Trafford FC, who compete in the Northern Premier League Division One West, following his removal from Amorim's first-team squad.
The Red Devils are now rolling out a brand-new attacking line-up after a busy summer transfer window. Both Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo sealed their moves from Wolves and Brentford respectively earlier this year. These signings were soon followed by that of striker Benjamin Sesko, who finalised a £73.3million transfer deal from German outfit RB Leipzig.
However, United may not be done with their summer shopping just yet. With a potential new midfielder on their radar before the looming transfer deadline, speculation swirls around Brighton's Carlos Baleba joining the club.
