Aaron Rodgers goes ‘Joe Biden’ mode

The Steelers signed four-time MVP winner Aaron Rodgers to be the franchise’s starting quarterback for the 2025 season this offseason, in what figures to be Rodgers’ last season in the NFL.

As Rodgers is going into his first season in Pittsburgh, he doesn’t have some of the established relationships with his teammates that some of the longer tenured Steelers have. This isn’t helped any by the fact that Rodgers is ancient by NFL standards, as he enters his year-41 season.

These things led to a pretty funny moment for Rodgers in training camp, per Rodgers himself.

“Aaron Rodgers said after 21 years in the league, he ‘gravitates toward the old heads,’ so when he was walking off the field in Jacksonville and started looking around, he did the ‘Joe Biden,’ realized he didn’t know anyone, and then joined up with Cam Heyward and TJ Watt,” reported ESPN’s Brooke Pryor.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.

“He really is a locker room cancer at this point. Divisive just to be divisive. Old guys vs young guys. Bringing politics up. Calling his coach ‘Mike’ instead of coach Tomlin. Steelers are gonna be a dumpster fire this year. And wait until DK and Ramsey start getting toxic,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Won’t be long before the fans turn on Rodgers for walking off the field with Cam and TJ. Cam and TJ are two of the most hated players by fans right now,” another fan added.

“Well if he did the trump, he would probably end up goin to jail right? He’d also have to scrap up young underage girls so it would be a tough ask,” someone else wrote.

It’ll be interesting to see what kind of relationships Rodgers builds over the course of the season.
