Manchester United fans have now received a huge prediction for where the Red Devils will likely finish in the Premier League table in the 2025-26 campaign.
The Red Devils are on the verge of starting their new Premier League season under Ruben Amorim, who took charge of Manchester United during the 2024-25 season.
United endured a woeful campaign last season and the Red Devils suffered their worst finish in the Premier League table since the top-flight league’s inception.
The Red Devils’ form fell off a cliff in the 2024-25 campaign and United finished 15th in the Premier League after a disastrous start to the season under Erik ten Hag.
Erik ten Hag was sacked as United manager last October and the ex-Ajax boss’ Old Trafford exit paved the way for Ruben Amorim’s arrival at the Premier League club.
Amorim faced an uphill challenge at Old Trafford last season and the 40-year-old Portuguese coach was unable to turn around United’s dwindling form in the league.

Ruben Amorim and Man Utd told early 2025-26 Premier League prediction ahead of the 2025-26 campaign
The Red Devils will not be playing in Europe in the 2025-26 campaign after Manchester United’s Europa League final defeat to Tottenham in Bilbao in May.
United manager Ruben Amorim faces an uphill task at Old Trafford and the former Sporting CP head coach will need to send a statement of intent in the new season.
Opta Analyst simulated the 2025-26 Premier League table using its ‘supercomputer’ and ran its simulation for ‘every match’ in a season a whopping ‘10,000 times.’
The data was pooled together and Opta revealed the average points total for all 20 Premier League teams, which has now predicted that the Red Devils will disappoint.
According to Opta Analyst, Amorim is predicted to lead United to 12th place in the Premier League table, which is three places above last season’s woeful standing.

How many points are Man Utd predicted to score under Ruben Amorim in the 2025-26 season?
Opta’s supercomputer highlighted that the Red Devils would still finish a sizeable distance outside of the Premier League’s top four and the top six next season.
United’s average points total after the simulation was run on every match in the season 10,000 times would see the Red Devils earn ‘49.1’ points under Amorim.
The 49.1 points average for United in Opta’s model would leave them trailing the likes of sixth-place Newcastle (60.4) and fourth-place Chelsea (63.7) next season.
United’s Premier League fixture list for the 2025-26 season dropped in June and the Red Devils face a tough opening run of five matches under manager Amorim.
The Red Devils will begin their Premier League campaign on Sunday against rivals Arsenal at Old Trafford, with kick-off slated for 4:30pm UK time.
